Jessica reveals her NICS affiliation and introduces the group to Defense Secretary Owen Kaios in N City. The Seekers share intelligence on the brainjacking threat, leading to a joint effort with NICS. As noon passes, LBX units in N City are hijacked, prompting the Detectors leader to demand the President's resignation by 6 p.m. or face continued chaos. Ban, Hiro, Jessica, and Ran receive a CCM program to detect EM waves, tracing the source to a subway doctor train. The Seekers complete a vaccine program, which the team installs in their LBXs. Inside the train, they confront Kousuke, a brainwashed slave player controlled by a collar. With one minute remaining, Hiro and Jessica defeat Kousuke using Shadow Lucifer and Jeanne D. After deactivating the collar and installing the vaccine, the LBXs fail to restart at 6 p.m., but the train unexpectedly begins moving wildly before the group can escape.
