Atom falls into the trap of Katari and his team, who are trying to eradicate robots, and is made to be the culprit who planted a wormhole projector on the airship Minerva. The wormhole projector is an unfinished matter transfer device, and once it is activated, the Minerva will be sent to the far reaches of space. Inside are many humans and Dr. Ochanomizu. Katari's gang is trying to make the Minerva disappear and blame it all on Atom and the other robots, which will spur the movement against robots.
