Heartbroken after being stood up, Junichi encounters a young girl rushing home with a gift for her brother. Two years later, he meets her again, now displaying a cold demeanor. At school, Junichi chases a black cat mentioned by Miya and reconnects with the girl, who introduces herself as Ai Nanasaki, his sister’s classmate and Swim Club member. When Miya questions why Ai is interested in him, Junichi ignores her, leading Miya to write on his forehead while he sleeps. The next morning, Ai helps him clean the markings and encourages him to join a raffle Miya desired. Although they do not win the specific prize, Junichi and Ai use their 500 Yen voucher to purchase Oubanyaki and spend time picking up trash at the beach.
