With the arrival of autumn, Junichi remains puzzled by Sae’s previous words while continuing to train her for a maid cafe interview. After Sae successfully passes the interview, she requests that Junichi remain her coach to provide ongoing encouragement. He then takes her to an amusement park where they enjoy rides and take photos with her favorite television superheroes. Later, Sae asks Junichi to be her partner for the Best Couple contest at the Kibitou High Founder's Festival on Christmas Eve. While waiting for a bus, Sae attempts to ask Junichi to hold her hand but feels too shy to voice the request. Junichi notices her hesitation, understands her desire, and takes her hand as they wait together.
