Ep. 9: Junichi helps shy transfer student Sae overcome fear to secure a part-time job at Kaoru's restaurant.
Two years after the Christmas Eve incident, the second semester begins with Junichi encountering new transfer student Sae. After Junichi loses his wallet following a collision with Haruka, the timid Sae returns it. Junichi seeks to thank her properly, leading to an introduction by his sister Miya. Later, Junichi finds Sae frightened by a puppy and takes her to the restaurant where Kaoru works to help her calm down. Sae admires Kaoru's uniform and expresses interest in wearing it. Junichi suggests she apply for a part-time position there. To prepare for the interview, Miya and Junichi decide to assist her, with Junichi acting as her coach. Following an awkward training session, the Tachibana siblings walk Sae home, during which Junichi gives her a piggyback ride.
