Sayuri Tachiki, the editor-in-chief of a prominent New York magazine and Kaori's biological sister, travels to Japan to hire City Hunter for locating her sibling. Ryo informs her that Kaori has passed away. Sayuri recounts how her mother denied her sister's existence following their parents' divorce, a fact only revealed before her mother's death. She requests evidence that Kaori lived a fulfilling life. Ryo and Xiang Ying subsequently meet with acquaintances of Kaori to gradually demonstrate the positive impact she had on those around her, confirming her happiness.
