Sep 20, 2007The brawlers struggle to find opponents, prompting Marucho and Julie to return home while Dan visits Runo and Alice. Alice reveals her suspicion that Runo watches her due to her lack of a Bakugan partner, a concern Runo admits stems from fears Alice works for Masquerade. Julie suspects Shun of similar allegiance after seeing him, leading her to confront him and his grandfather, whom she mistakenly attacks believing him to be Hal-G. Shun and Skyress clarify the error. Meanwhile, Dan and Runo face Shuji, Akira, and Nene in battle. Runo initially rejects Alice’s assistance but accepts it just before defeat. The trio wins, reconciling their friendship. Marucho discovers hacked files revealing the brawlers' secrets to an unknown party but chooses to withhold this information from the group for now.

Sep 27, 2007Julio falls after losing to Masquerade, prompting Runo to worry about her dwindling Bakugan. Chan loses a battle, sending Foretress to the Doom Dimension. Runo announces her retirement from the cafe, with Tigrerra questioning the decision. Komba subsequently loses to Masquerade, resulting in Harpus being sent away. Masquerade then defeats Billy, sending Cycloid to the Doom Dimension, which alarms Julie when Billy's toy horse falls. Dan and Drago visit Runo to cheer her up and offer to cover for her. Meanwhile, Masquerade battles Klaus, causing Hydranoid to evolve into Darkus Dual Hydranoid. Sirenoid attempts to stop the evolved enemy using the Mind Ghost gate card but fails, leading to Klaus losing Sirenoid. Ultimately, Runo decides to resume playing Bakugan as a Haos fighter.

Dan and Masquerade engage in another brawl, with Dan initially dominating the match. However, Masquerade activates a final ability card to reverse the outcome. Drago is defeated by Hydranoid and sent through the portal to the Doom Dimension. As the portal begins to close, Dan leaps in after his partner despite Shun's attempts to intervene. The battlefield vanishes, leaving the remaining brawlers horrified as they believe Dan and Drago are lost forever.

Shun receives a challenge from Masquerade and devises a plan with Skyress to locate the missing pair. After Alice forces Shun to reveal the truth, the Brawlers bid farewell to their families and head to the Doom Dimension. Runo reassures Dan’s mother, who arrives just as the battle against Masquerade begins. Time stops and resumes, leaving Masquerade alone; he reveals the Brawlers were sent to the Doom Dimension. There, six Bakugan observe the newcomers through a viewing sphere and decide to test them.

Brawlers meet ancient warriors who demand battles to escape the Doom Dimension
Oct 18, 2007The brawlers reunite with Dan and Drago while seeking a way out of the Doom Dimension. Six bakugan appear, identifying themselves as Pyrus Apollonir, Haos Lars Lion, Aquos Frasch, Subterra Clayf, Ventus Oberus, and Darkus Exceedra. Drago recognizes them as the ancient warriors who saved Vestroia. They offer to help the brawlers escape if they become new warriors, provided they defeat their corresponding ancient warrior in battle. Dan adds that victory will free all trapped bakugan. The group agrees and is separated by light. Julie and Gorem are tested first. Julie wakes up in her house with her sister Daisy and Tom, who is revealed to be Clayf. Julie battles Daisy, who controls Clayf. Julie struggles with feelings of inadequacy compared to her sister. Gorem, near defeat, helps Julie realize she must be herself. Gaining confidence, Gorem evolves into Subterra Hammer Gorem and defeats Clayf. Clayf then appoints Julie and Gorem as the new Subterra soldiers.

Oct 25, 2007Marucho is sent to a test location where he encounters an ancient Aquos soldier named Frosch. After providing water, Marucho and Preyas learn Frosch’s identity and engage in a battle where Frosch uses a clone of Marucho as a partner. Marucho realizes this opponent represents his past self, who obeyed his parents to make them happy. Understanding that he must accept this history, Marucho sends Preyas into battle. Preyas evolves into Aquos Preyas Angelo, who possesses both Aquos and Haos attributes. Following a victory, Preyas reveals a second form, Diablo, which adds Pyrus attributes. Marucho defeats Frosch, makes peace with his past, and is returned to his friends by Frosch, who acknowledges them as new Aquos soldiers.

Shun and Skyress encounter a mysterious girl in an empty town who challenges them to games.
Nov 1, 2007Shun and Skyress arrive in a deserted town where they meet a lonely girl seeking playmates. They engage in tag and kick the can before noticing the sun has not moved. The girl reveals she is alone and initiates a Bakugan battle. Shun gains an early advantage, but Oberus enters the fight, defeating Skyress. Shun realizes the girl resembles his late mother and regrets his mistake. His tear falls on Skyress’s ability card, triggering an evolution into Storm Skyress. The evolved Skyress defeats Oberus. After saying goodbye as the sun sets, Oberus transports Shun to Vestroia to reveal recent events. Skyress expresses confidence in their support. Oberus then returns Shun and Skyress to the other brawlers, designating them as new Ventus soldiers.

Nov 8, 2007The Battle Brawlers are separated into worlds by the Six Legendary Soldiers of Vestroia. While Julie, Marucho, and Shun succeed, Runo and Tigrerra enter a misty forest created by Haos Legendary Soldier Lars Lion. Runo wishes for Dan’s guidance, triggering a childhood flashback. After encountering a shadowy figure who transforms into an old lady, the duo chases a mysterious boy to his cottage. There, Runo recalls her past and faces a challenge from a boy created by Lars Lion. To save Tigrerra, Runo must admit she treasures her friendship with Dan Kuso. She declares, "We are friends forever, Dan!" This admission allows Tigrerra to evolve into Haos Blade Tigrerra, defeat Lars Lion, and pass the test to become a Haos soldier.

Dan and Drago face Apollonir to free the Brawlers from the Doom Dimension
Nov 15, 2007While Julie, Marucho, Shun, and Runo pass their trials in the Doom Dimension, their Guardian Bakugan evolve into Hammer Gorem, Angelo/Diablo Preyas, Storm Skyress, and Blade Tigrerra. Dan and Drago must now confront Apollonir, the leader of the Six Legendary Soldiers of Vestroia, to free the trapped Brawlers. Although they defeat Apollonir, Drago does not evolve. Apollonir reveals that Drago requires defeating the other four Brawlers to evolve again. Reluctantly, Dan agrees to this second phase of the test to complete their mission.

The Brawlers Return to Earth While Masquerade Seeks to Evolve Dual Hydranoid
Nov 22, 2007Dan and the Brawlers return to Earth from the Doom Dimension, though Dan struggles with the news that he failed his test and must battle them to pass. Simultaneously, Joe and Wavern face an attack from Masquerade, who demands the Infinity Core from Wavern. Wavern defeats Masquerade’s Bakugan, including Dual Hydranoid, before Joe defeats Masquerade himself. Wavern warns that her evil twin brother, Naga, must retrieve the core personally. Masquerade denies being Naga’s messenger and teleports away. He then resolves to travel to the Doom Dimension to find a method to evolve Dual Hydranoid into its ultimate form, Alpha Hydranoid, leaving his success uncertain.

Dan faces Masquerade, whose Dual Hydranoid has become Alpha Hydranoid. Their intense clash causes multiple draws and destroys the arena. Dan ultimately wins, and Masquerade considers joining the team to fight Naga. However, just before shaking hands, Masquerade removes her mask, revealing red hair and shocking everyone. The villain is unmasked as Alice, leaving the group stunned by her true identity.

Dec 27, 2007Masquerade loses a fight to Dan, revealing himself as Alice after removing his mask. Hal-G appears as a hologram, explaining that he and Alice became alter-egos after exposure to negative energy from the Silent Core, which leaked through Dr. Michael's Gateway Transporter when Naga attempted to seize it. Overcome with guilt, Alice leaves with Hal-G, disappointing the forgiving Brawlers. Meanwhile, global environmental anomalies occur, including a massive dimensional rift to Vestroia appearing in the Pacific Ocean. After informing their families, including the shocked Makimotos and Shun's grandfather, the Brawlers prepare to enter the portal to stop Naga from destroying both worlds.
