Ep. 15: Black Jack faces his stepfather's plot to steal his mother's pendant while confronting his past.

Black Jack returns to support his comatose father, but this visit is a trap orchestrated by Zen Mantoku, the father of his stepmother Renka. Mantoku seeks a pendant containing microfiche and kidnaps Pinoko to lure Jack. Benitokage intervenes to save them, but Jack is captured and brought before Mantoku. Mantoku reveals he caused the bomb explosion that killed Jack's mother and injured him, while forcing Kagemitsu into servitude. Jack refuses to join the organization, having already exposed the Noir Project secrets. He also identifies Benitokage as Kagemitsu's first daughter with Renka. After Benitokage helps Jack escape, he is shot in the leg. With Dr. Kuwata's assistance, Jack performs self-surgery using parts from his father's body. At the airport, a sniper targets Jack, but Benitokage sacrifices herself to save his life.
