Black Jack travels to England aboard Dr. White’s Sky Hospital, an aircraft converted into a mobile clinic, accompanied by Dr. Ayako Nishikawa. Militants from Taranistan hijack the plane to repurpose it for combat, injuring the pilots with a stun grenade. Black Jack performs critical surgery under extreme conditions to save the crew, while Dr. White battles to maintain control of the fuel-depleted aircraft. With help from a recovering pilot, Dr. White successfully lands the damaged plane in a desert. Following the emergency landing, Black Jack and Pinoko resume their travels on foot, having survived the dangerous ordeal.
