Ep. 8: Black Jack Investigates Non-Aging Coma Patient in England

Black Jack travels to England to find Dr. Stein and encounters a man in a coma for 65 years who has not aged. While Dr. Stein seeks to study the patient for secrets of eternal youth, the niece hires Dr. Kiriko to end his life. Black Jack operates successfully, allowing the patient to wake up, but he rapidly ages and dies. Following this, Dr. Stein reveals he urged Dr. Honma to perform organ transplants on Black Jack 21 years ago after a severe explosion. As Dr. Stein succumbs to a condition known as "Phoenix disease," he provides Black Jack with the name of Dr. Jorujyu in New York, a former associate who might assist in his ongoing search.
