Teruto remains listless after his defeat by Kikka, spending his days fishing by the river without motivation. His lack of drive stems not only from losing to his younger sister but also from learning she is now the King of Neo Kyoto. Kikka desperately wants to fight Teruto again as it is her only source of excitement, but her attendant Higuma forbids her from leaving, insisting she rest for an upcoming event. Ignoring advice from Sakura and Hiyori, Teruto ventures out alone. As he walks, a man suddenly appears in front of him, leading to an unexpected encounter.
