With Christmas approaching, Candy and seven-year-old Jimmy visit Mr. Cartwright to prevent the eviction of Pony's Home. Candy insults the gardener, unaware he is the owner, before fleeing with Jimmy upon seeing a cowpoke. To soften his heart, she leads the orphans dressed as angels to his residence. Each child gives a kiss to the rough cowboys, an act of innocence that proves irresistible even to the harshest men.
