Ep. 45: Terry rescues Eliza from the lake and invites Candy to his home during a storm.

Terry tends to Candy’s arm wound from the galop using a scarf scented with his mother's perfume. While the Cornwell brothers row Annie and Patricia, they witness Candy with Terry, causing Eliza to capsize her boat. Archibald and Alistear ignore Eliza’s distress, but Terry dives in to save her. When Eliza rejects Candy’s help, Terry abandons her and returns home. Great-aunt Elroy plans a white dress garden party to thank Terry. Candy feigns disinterest, knowing Elroy cannot welcome her after Anthony's death. Terry declines the party when he learns Candy will not attend, inviting her to his home instead. They sit by the fire during a rainstorm, using his mother's dresser for warmth. Eliza arrives, slaps Candy, and insults Annie and Patricia, but the girls remain confident and unharmed.
