Ep. 69: Candy helps Miena escape while visiting Mr. McGregor's villa and rose garden.

Franny criticizes Candy for becoming clumsy while grieving Mr. McGregor, whereas Merry Jane advises her to accept patient mortality. Since Mr. McGregor was incurable, Merry Jane sends Candy to Pony's Home, but Candy first visits the deceased patient's house. There, she finds Miena fleeing after attacking the overseer during a division of belongings. Candy locates Miena at a secret lake and rescues her from hunters. They proceed to a villa with a rose garden where an old gardener, who kept a rose named after Candy, works. Although the overseer owns the property and seeks vengeance, the gardener explains Candy's connection to the flower. The overseer agrees to let Candy take Miena to the orphanage, allowing the girl to leave with the dog safely.
