During a countryside trip, Tomoya purchases a toy robot for Ushio. After staying at an inn, they walk through a flower field where Ushio loses the gift. While searching, Tomoya visits his grandmother, Shino Okazaki, who shares memories of his late mother, Atsuko Okazaki, and his father’s dedication. This conversation helps Tomoya accept his father’s efforts and resolve past conflicts. Ushio remains determined to find the robot, as it was her father’s first gift. Tomoya realizes his previous failures and vows to be better for her. Later, on the way home, he begins sharing stories about Nagisa with Ushio for the first time.
