EP 25Big Trouble!! Baby Has Appeared on Earth
Oct 9, 1996Goku, Trunks, and Pan locate the seven-star ball, leaving them only two Dragon Balls away from their goal. On Earth, a powerful thug rampages through the city seeking the Saiyans. Goten encounters this man, defeating him and his cronies. Subsequently, another strange and powerful individual attacks Goten before suffering convulsions. Baby emerges from the host, revealing he had been possessing these fighters. Having regained significant strength during his journey to Earth, Baby is far stronger than during his previous encounters with Goku and Trunks. He informs Goten of his intention to possess him.
EP 26Baby Seizes Control of Goten and Gohan to Hunt Vegeta
Oct 16, 1996Baby manipulates Goten into powering up, allowing him to possess the young Saiyan. Taking Goten’s form, Baby returns to Capsule Corporation to locate Vegeta, whom he identifies as Earth’s strongest Saiyan. While Goku, Trunks, and Pan discover a Dragon Ball, leaving them one away from completing their quest, Gohan senses an anomaly. He takes Goten to the countryside and reveals his knowledge of the possession. Sensing Gohan’s superior strength, Baby uses Goten’s power to provoke Gohan into releasing his full strength. When Gohan’s guard drops, Baby switches bodies with him. Piccolo arrives but is swiftly defeated. Now controlling Gohan, Baby resumes his search for Vegeta.
EP 27Vegeta Possessed: Baby's Ambitions Achieved Through Gohan's Body
Oct 23, 1996Baby, inhabiting Gohan, intercepts Vegeta and Bulla on a highway. Vegeta sends Bulla home after realizing Gohan is compromised. Baby reveals he is a Tuffle parasite that Dr. Myuu created after Saiyans destroyed the Tuffle homeworld. Baby previously possessed Myuu to build a new body. Vegeta initially gains the upper hand against Baby, but Goten arrives, also under Baby's control. The combined power of the two possessed Saiyan brothers overwhelms Vegeta, allowing Baby to seize control of his body. Meanwhile, Goku, Trunks, and Pan locate the final two-star Dragon Ball. Having collected all seven Black Star Dragon Balls, the group prepares to return to Earth.
EP 28Goku Returns to Earth as Baby's Parasitic Infection Spreads Globally
Oct 30, 1996Goku, Trunks, and Pan arrive at Dende's lookout, handing over the Dragon Balls while Dende remains under Baby's control. They choose not to wish Goku back to his adult form, preferring he remain a child rather than collect the balls again. Upon reaching home, Goku and Pan encounter strange behavior from Chi-Chi and Videl. Gohan and Goten suddenly attack, knocking Pan unconscious. Goku easily repels them until Vegeta arrives. Hercule explains that Baby has laid eggs inside everyone on Earth, transforming them into Tuffles. Although Baby attempted to infect Majin Buu, Buu expelled the egg. Consequently, Buu and Hercule are the only two who escaped Baby's rampage due to Buu's protective abilities.
EP 29Super Saiyan 3 Fails as Goku Struggles Against Baby's Overwhelming Power
Nov 6, 1996Buu consumes Hercule and Pan for protection before departing. Trunks and Bulla arrive, eager to battle Goku due to their infection. Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and Bulla attack, but Baby halts them to defeat Goku personally. Goku transforms into Super Saiyan 3 but cannot utilize his full power or defend himself in his new body. Baby overpowers the helpless Saiyan. The four fighters transfer their energy to Baby, triggering a new form. He then collects energy from all of Earth to create the Revenge Death Ball, launching it directly at Goku, leaving his fate uncertain.
EP 30Goku survives a blast but is dropped into a mysterious dimension where he must play a rigged game for his life.
Nov 13, 1996Kibito Kai rescues Goku from an incoming blast but accidentally transports him to a strange dimension after being struck by the shockwave. Unseen by Baby and others, Goku encounters a man named Sugoro who challenges him to a life-sized board game. Victory allows Goku to return to Earth, while defeat means death. His powers are removed as they violate the rules. Goku suffers constant bad luck while Sugoro cheats undetected. Meanwhile, Dende hands the Black Star Dragon Balls to Baby, who wishes for the Tuffle home planet to be restored in Earth's orbit. Baby then gathers the Tuffles on Earth, and they board a large spaceship to travel to their new home.
EP 31Goku exposes Suguro's cheating and escapes to the Kais while Gohan faces a deadly order on Earth.
Dec 11, 1996Goku reveals that Suguro and his son, disguised as a dice, are cheating using Space Lemur shapeshifting abilities. Despite Suguro's pleas, Goku shouts the truth, angering the game's administrators who begin destroying the environment. Goku grabs Suguro and blasts a hole into another dimension, escaping the game world. Upon exiting, Kibito Kai transports them to the world of the Kais. Elder Kai decides to train Goku because he is currently too weak to defeat Baby. Meanwhile, on Earth, Buu, Pan, and Mr. Satan sneak onto a ship. Their presence is discovered, leading Gohan to receive orders to execute Pan. Before he can carry out this command, Uub arrives and rescues her from the situation.
