Ep. 253: Gotenks fails to defeat Buu while Buu vows to stop killing after his dog is shot.

Goten and Trunks fuse into Gotenks as Super Saiyans, but his arrogance leads him to circle the Earth at high speed rather than fighting. By the time he attempts to strike Buu, the thirty-minute fusion limit expires. Meanwhile, Hercule stays at Buu’s residence, attempting to appease the monster by preparing dinner. During a separate outing where Buu kills people, he encounters an injured dog and uses his powers to heal it. This act introduces Buu to the concept of friendship. When Hercule explains that killing is wrong, Buu promises to cease all lethal actions. However, while Buu and his new canine companion are playing fetch, two unstable gunmen shoot and kill the dog.
