Aug 23, 1995Goku rescues Vegeta from absorption and continues battling Super Buu’s thought form while losing energy. Vegeta destroys the pod containing fat Majin Buu, causing Super Buu to destabilize. Realizing they must flee, Goku and Vegeta retrieve the pods holding Gohan, Goten, Piccolo, and Trunks. They navigate through Buu’s internal tunnels, exiting via a steam hole in his skin. Upon emerging, all six regain their normal size. As Goku and Vegeta set the pods down, they watch Super Buu undergo a transformation, first becoming a hulking figure before shrinking into a childlike version of himself.
EP 277Supreme Kai reveals the history of the five Supreme Kais and the true nature of Kid Buu.
Sep 6, 1995Supreme Kai explains to Old Kai that he was once one of five Supreme Kais, with four ruling over universe quadrants and one leader. He identifies the current childlike Kid Buu as the original, most powerful Majin Buu. The Supreme North and West Kai died fighting him, while the Supreme South Kai was absorbed, transforming Buu into a hulking form that later absorbed the leader, Dai Kaio, resulting in the fat Buu. This absorption weakened Kid Buu. On Earth, Kid Buu throws an energy ball to destroy the planet. Goku and Vegeta deflect it, but Kid Buu retaliates with a ball ten times more powerful. He transforms into Super Saiyan 2 and attacks Buu, destroying him temporarily, but the enemy reforms.
