Shinra discovers Iris praying in the chapel, though she denies any distress. Captain Obi briefs rookies on dangerous second-generation Infernals who control rather than start fires. He notes Company 8 will use force against Princess Hibana to extract information, prompting Company 5 to deploy her as bait. Shinra arrives to challenge Company 5, joined by Lieutenant Takehisa, Maki, and Arthur. They defeat most opponents but face Toru Kishiri’s explosive Backdraft Bubblish Gum. Takehisa uses ricocheting bullets while Maki and Takehisa confront the Angels Three. Arthur battles Conehead and a chemically enhanced captured Infernal. Company 8 gains the advantage as Shinra enters to rescue Iris from Hibana.
