Dumas deploys robots to seize the GED Ring and the Organisation, while Cooks infiltrates to halt activation. He also detaches a ship segment holding Girishian scientists' bodies, sending it into the ocean. Hasumodai, Talrant, Chitto, and Thoma escape safely, but Hiisuma remains catatonic from despair over the betrayal and dies on a beach as other Children watch sadly. Simultaneously, Agi and Soreto confront Gherta with the truth that she was once Mel. This revelation explains her sudden memory loss from the first episode and provides further details regarding the Fragments of the Autozones.
