Ep. 5: Takashi and Rei rescue Saya's group near Onbetsu Bridge while Rika clears zombies at Kansai Airport
At Kansai International Airport, Rika Minami and her Special Assault Team squad evacuate civilians by eliminating zombies on the runway. Meanwhile, Takashi and Rei escape a conflict between infected survivors and zombies, discovering that police and military forces have blocked all bridges to stop the spread of infection. Realizing that remaining with Shido offers no benefit, Saya, Kohta, Saeko, and Shizuka depart the bus after Kohta persuades him. They travel to Onbetsu Bridge, where they encounter more zombies before being rescued by the timely arrival of Takashi and Rei. Seeking shelter for the night, Shizuka proposes staying at her friend Rika's apartment, noting a Humvee parked outside. The group enters the building, which is infested with zombies, and engages in combat to survive the immediate threat.
