Kagami witnesses Masaki Kurusu’s return to the Limitless Fortress while Kaoru Ujiie attacks Sakura, who is then taken to the Honky Tonk cafe. Himiko informs Ban, Ginji, Himiko, and Hevn that Makubex was kidnapped while attempting to download data for Lower Town peace. Ginji identifies Kaoru as the attacker via an arm insignia, which signals that fire will enter Sakura’s body within one day. Masaki visits Gen, hinting at Makubex’s captivity, while Ren meets Toshiki Uryuu. Ban, Ginji, Himiko, Shido, and Kazuki head to the fortress to rescue Makubex and save Sakura, leaving Hevn with Sakura. Meanwhile, Emishi and Juubei split up in Lower Town. Emishi encounters Jouya Kanou, who confirms Masaki’s return, but Juubei intervenes to prevent an attack.
