Ban and Ginji are tasked with recovering a stolen government object after recording a strange phenomenon. Hevn reviews the footage, recognizes a familiar face, and cancels their mission while providing compensation. Flashbacks reveal Hevn’s history at a research facility attacked by commandos, where her partner Eiji was shot. Eiji had previously discussed an alloy that enhances transportation, structural durability, and prosthetic limbs. Hevn takes the assignment to retrieve this alloy, infiltrating a commando ship and surrendering to reach Eiji. Ban and Ginji, disguised as commandos, defeat the guards and chase Eiji. Their attacks fail because his clothing contains the special alloy. Hevn is surprised Eiji survived the past attack. Eiji admits he is an agent who stole the alloy and befriended Hevn to achieve his goals. Feeling deceived, Hevn aims to shoot him, but he shows his old wounds and proposes they restart their lives together. Ban and Ginji leave them alone. The next day at the Honky Tonk cafe, the duo wonders about Hevn and Eiji’s whereabouts when Hevn enters to offer a new assignment.
