Ep. 20: Aoi visits the Dragon Palace and learns secrets from Princess Iso's memory.

Odanna clarifies that his unique power allows him to withstand the Dragon Palace's miasma, unlike Ginji and Ranmaru. Upon entering, Aoi falls into sand and meets Princess Iso in a throne room. Iso shows Aoi a vision of the Southern Land from 1000 years ago and reveals she is dead, with her body trapped inside the miasma. Aoi is actually speaking to a memory imprint. Iso asks Aoi to prepare ocean treasure food and care for Ginji and Ranmaru before returning her. Aoi wakes to find a Mermaid Scale in a wall and Iso's bracelet. An infected Ogre attacks, but Odanna destroys it, getting injured himself. They nearly kiss, but he kisses her forehead instead. Aoi believes Ginji and Ranmaru must reconcile for the ceremony to succeed. Odanna promises secret support from Tenjin-ya. Aoi negotiates with Ranmaru to work at Orio-ya alongside Ginji in exchange for preparing the ocean treasure. Ranmaru agrees after learning how she retrieved the scale. Aoi and Ginji decide to use ingredients from both the Hidden and human realms.
