Ep. 9: Nokoko struggles with city life while Komi learns social skills through games and work.

As the new semester starts, Nokoko Inaka feels out of place in the city. She shadows Komi to learn proper ordering etiquette after hearing about a sandwich purchase. Later, Nakanaka hosts Komi at her home, inviting Najimi and Tadano to join. Tadano helps Komi learn to play a video game. On a day off, Komi and Tadano assist Najimi with tissue distribution at a store. Komi gains confidence after successfully handing a tissue to a woman, completing the task. In class, Tadano has a seed on his face, but Komi is too shy to mention it. She then asks Tadano to use her first name, but he refuses. When Najimi suggests Komi call Tadano by his first name to set an example, Komi becomes too embarrassed to comply.
