Ep. 4: Saya's past tragedy and the true nature of the secret treasure
Saya accompanied her doctor father abroad, reading manga before returning home to play soccer with Riki until rain forced them inside. A mudflow appeared to kill her, but she actually entered Kyousuke’s artificial world. She died repeatedly in game scenarios, causing Kyousuke to reset time. After multiple attempts to reach the sixth basement, Saya used Riki as a decoy to defeat Shun. They took an elevator to the sixtieth basement, where Saya locked herself in a glass case, revealing the secret treasure was a biological weapon. Riki watched her shoot herself in the head. Upon waking, Kyousuke explained that the Darkness Executives acted prematurely and the treasure was actually a time machine. Saya survived the mudflow as a child, shared her dream with her father, and resumed playing with Riki.
