Riki Naoe meets Saya Tokido who recruits him to find a secret treasure in school
Jan 29, 2014Riki Naoe encounters Saya Tokido at night, who urges him to flee after a gunshot. He retrieves her abandoned student handbook and returns it the next day. Saya invites Riki to the school roof, warning that the Darkness Executives might discover her identity. She pushes him off the ledge, but Masato Inohara catches him below. Riki asks Kyousuke Natsume about the group and receives a warning. After Kengo Miyazawa saves Riki from a noose, he escapes an attack involving saltwater balloons and power lines. Impressed by his survival, Saya enlists Riki to help locate a secret treasure within the school. They discover a mysterious device in a classroom, activate it to reveal a hidden entrance, and escape into it while being pursued by the Darkness Executives.

Feb 26, 2014Riki and Saya explore three basement levels of an underground dungeon filled with booby traps, then decide to restock on water, food, and supplies. They meet at the shopping district after school, where Saya’s excitement over a claw crane piques Riki’s interest. Returning to the fourth basement, Riki feels a sense of familiarity with Saya. While searching for a downward staircase, they are attacked by the Darkness Executives. Riki activates the stairs to cover Saya’s escape, and they retreat into a room containing a hot bath. Saya awkwardly undresses to relax, causing Riki anxiety. After dressing again, they share a picnic, during which Riki realizes he fell in love with Saya some time ago.

They reach the sixth basement, where Saya hopes the treasure is a time machine to meet Riki again. She asks for a date if the mission succeeds, and he agrees. They encounter Shun Tokikaze, director of the Darkness Executives. Saya fights Shun alone but dies, triggering a game over screen. The game restarts, stating this is her 99th or 100th time, and the journey repeats with her asking Riki to run down the school hallway.

After multiple attempts to reach the sixth basement, Saya used Riki as a decoy to defeat Shun. They took an elevator to the sixtieth basement, where Saya locked herself in a glass case, revealing the secret treasure was a biological weapon. Riki watched her shoot herself in the head. Upon waking, Kyousuke explained that the Darkness Executives acted prematurely and the treasure was actually a time machine. Saya survived the mudflow as a child, shared her dream with her father, and resumed playing with Riki.

The next day, Sasami feels isolated as others treat her like a real cat, with Komari being the sole believer. On the following day, Riki suspects a parallel world after Rin informs him that Komari has gone missing.

Ceiling sprinklers expose her body scars, leading her to flee from students and vomit in the courtyard.
