Jubei Yagyu, a renowned swordsman, returns to his village seeking peace after years of violent service. Haunted by visions of a bloody past, he finds the village's calm suspicious. Rumors of four resurrected heroes, drawing power from fear and conflict, reach him. As the Shogun's forces wage brutal war, Jubei is drawn back into a cycle of vengeance. Trapped in Amakusa, a group awaits supernatural intervention while a figure torn between good and evil emerges. Jubei must once again wield his blade, caught in a conflict of faith and betrayal. Originally planned as a four-part series, it was cut short to two episodes due to external pressures, leaving the narrative unresolved.
