Ep. 11: Keaton and Daniel help Roddy prove his cooking skills to Huk-Shu at Golden Lotus.

At London’s Golden Lotus restaurant, Chinese head chef Huk-Shu fires British porter Roddy for cooking without permission. Son-Rei asks Keaton and Daniel to help Roddy, who developed a passion for Chinese cuisine while living in Hong Kong. The duo seeks a recipe for deep-fried sweet and sour pork from Taihei, who travels to Yokohama’s Taishokaku restaurant with Yuriko to find it. Keaton and Daniel also speak with Shou, who reveals that Sun Yat-sen once worked at Golden Lotus. Yuriko confirms Sun created the recipe. Keaton and Daniel invite Huk-Shu to taste Roddy’s whiskey deep-fried sweet and sour pork and dried persimmon mooncakes prepared by Son-Rei. Shocked by the quality, Huk-Shu rehires Roddy, and Keaton and Daniel celebrate their success at the bar.
