The Serenity Fleet utilizes a prism formation to track a ghost ship while the Bentenmaru navigates a spatial rift caused by the vessel. Captain Grunhilde Serenity, commanding the flagship Queen Serendipity, demands Gruier abandon the Bentenmaru under threat of hostility. Gruier refuses the ultimatum. The golden ghost ship is revealed to be the Queen Serendipity itself. The Bentenmaru successfully docks after its computer scan identifies Gruier. The ship then prepares to enter subspace again, concluding the immediate confrontation between the fleet and the Bentenmaru crew.
