Ep. 35: Shingo and Porte resolve their disagreement over ship propulsion methods while continuing construction efforts.

Shingo designs and Porte advises from his recovery as the children construct a ship using the Orion’s hull, with Pague assisting and parts scavenged from the forest and ruins. Tensions rise between Shingo and Porte regarding component shortages, specifically concerning the gravity control unit’s insufficient power for both lift and propulsion. Shingo proposes sail power for propulsion, which Porte initially rejects due to traditionalist views but later accepts after apologizing. While the others build, Porte, Shingo, and Chako handle wiring and controls. Porte shares a story about his son, who vanished on a colonizing ship after an argument, prompting Porte to become a mechanic searching for him. As Shingo goes to bed, Porte collapses unnoticed from chest pain.
