Ep. 34: The group discovers a gravity unit and decides to build a ship for the mainland
After finding Porte injured, the children reach the ruins only to see them and the Orion destroyed. Adam is devastated by the loss of his connection to his parents. Luna proposes traveling to the mainland to locate the terraforming machine and another spaceship, but the group prefers to rebuild their current lifestyle first. Two weeks later, spirits remain low, with only Luna, Sharla, Bell, and Kaoru active. Sharla reveals a cargo container from the Orion found in the forest. Inside, they discover a working gravity control unit. Luna tests it but is knocked unconscious when deactivating it, alerting Adam and the others. The group criticizes Luna’s recklessness, while Sharla defends her actions as being for their benefit. The unit restores their morale, leading them to decide to construct a vessel for the mainland journey.
