Ep. 36: The children name their ship Orion and depart after Porte's death from space sickness.

As the children complete the ship and load supplies, Porte offers final advice to each member except Shingo. Sharla delays naming the vessel, preferring to reflect on the matter. That evening, the group returns to Everyone's House for their final night on the island. While Menori plays the violin, they recall their shared experiences. Later, Shingo discovers Porte by the fire, where Porte gifts him his mechanic's jacket before they rest together. The next morning, the children learn Porte has died from space sickness. They bury him near the Magnificent Tree, and Sharla reveals the ship's name is Orion, honoring Porte's own vessel. Shingo vows to locate Porte's son, and the group launches the Orion successfully. Pague watches them depart as they begin their long voyage to the continent.
