Ep. 32: Children abandon ruins repair to steal Orion and escape with gyrostabilizer
Aired on June 3, 2004

32
The children decide to abandon repairing the ruins and instead steal the Orion. They trap escapees in the inner chamber using a terraforming device, secure the gyrostabilizer, and flee to the beach. Bob and Brindo breach the doors with a bomb. Luna, Bell, Menori, and Howard stay behind to set traps. Kaoru pilots the ship due to his training, while Porte, Shingo, and Chako repair the door code and sabotage. Sharla and Adam defend against the escapees. The group enters the ship and prepares for takeoff. However, Brindo anticipates their ambush on the direct path and leads the escapees on a detour. This allows the pursuers to bypass the traps entirely and reach the beach without hindrance.
