Feudal Lords formally ratify the Allied Shinobi Forces during a televised conference as Gaara, Mei, and Onoki return to their villages. Gaara meets with Hidden Sand Elders to explain the Five Kage summit and the Akatsuki threat, learning of Danzo's death via Kakashi's ninja dogs. Despite preparations for battle, some ninja remain reluctant to ally with former enemies. At the Hidden Leaf Village, Shikamaru informs Ino and Choji about his father's words before Team Ebisu welcomes Naruto and others home. Naruto asks Shikamaru to gather their friends to share his experiences, promising an interview for Team Ebisu's newsletter. Konohamaru notices a change in Naruto, who smiles at the rebuilt village.
