Hiashi Hyuga assigns Neji to lead the frontline during war discussions, doubting Hinata’s strength. Tenten informs Hinata that Tsunade is searching for her. Hinata locates the Hokage, who is preparing to meet the Land of Fire's Feudal Lord. That night, Tenten hosts a girls-only reunion at Barbe-Q with Hinata, Sakura, Ino, and Shiho, where they recall the Chunin exam and Naruto’s heroism. Nearby, Kiba and the boys discuss the Sasuke Retrieval Mission, leaving Shino upset about his absence. A drunk Tsunade joins the group after a tense meeting with the Feudal Lord. Hinata realizes protecting Naruto is her priority and begins training with Neji the next day.
