Mireille and Kirika journey to Russia to eliminate Yuri Nazarov, a former KGB agent who ordered the mass execution of the Tashkil minority. Nazarov now lives quietly, helping others without seeking reward. Kirika discovers a lost kitten and nurtures it until she meets Nazarov, the owner, during a walk. When Nazarov collapses from pain, Kirika summons a doctor to stabilize him. As they investigate his past, they learn the Tashkil murdered Nazarov’s family during an ethnic feud. In retirement, Nazarov attempts atonement by feeding the poor. Despite her resolve wavering upon learning these details, Kirika ultimately fulfills her mission to assassinate him.
