Ep. 48: Team Rocket's Pikachu Swap Causes Confusion in Castelia City

Ash and Goh visit Castelia City in the Unova region while Team Rocket arrives earlier to steal Pikachu using a mechanical clone named Almost Pikachu. The two identical Pikachus play together, making it impossible to distinguish the real one. Team Rocket captures one, prompting Cinderace and Lucario to pursue them despite their poor relationship. Stuck together by a sticky grabber, the Pokémon rescue the captured Pikachu. Meanwhile, Ash, Goh, and the remaining Pikachu enjoy Unova's dessert delicacies, unaware of the theft. The story questions which Pikachu was taken and whether the duo can cooperate to protect their friend.
