Ep. 49: Eevee Escapes Research Center and Joins Chloe After Team Rocket Attack

An Eevee at a Vermilion City research center attempts to mimic evolved forms without success. It escapes to follow Yamper, becoming friendly with the dog Pokémon. Lab assistants chase them to Chloe's school, where Goh helps Chloe evade capture. Team Rocket, disguised as students, attempts to steal school Pokémon, including Goh's Cinderace and Sobble. Ash and Pikachu fall into a pit trap. Yamper defends Eevee, prompting Eevee to use Yamper's electric attack. Pikachu joins the battle with Thunderbolt. The research head arrives to reclaim Eevee. Eevee chooses to stay with Chloe, who feels the same way. The head approves, allowing Chloe to catch Eevee.
