Ash encounters Volcanion after it falls from the sky, creating a dust cloud and linking them with an unknown force. Initially hostile toward humans, Volcanion resists but must take Ash with it on a mission. They reach a city of machinery where a corrupt minister has seized Magearna, an Artificial Pokémon crafted 500 years ago. The minister intends to use Magearna’s power to dominate the mechanical kingdom. Ash and Volcanion must team up to save Magearna. A major Pokémon battle is about to take place.
