During the contest, Kodachi employs illegal tactics to hinder Ranma, but he manages to overcome these obstacles and secure victory. Despite the loss, Kodachi remains determined to pursue Ranma, declaring that her feelings have intensified into a new, burning passion, much to Ranma's annoyance.
