Sep 11, 2004The NetSavers and Lan's friends devise a plan to rescue ProtoMan from darkness using a VaccineChip. They lure him into a trap at a deserted hotel to execute the strategy, but the chip fails to work. Chaud then performs a CrossFusion with Dark ProtoMan to attempt a cure, which transports them into a world of memories where they fight against the darkness. Although the darkness is eventually alleviated, the intense battle results in both Chaud and ProtoMan being hospitalized afterward.

Sep 18, 2004After being revived, ShadeMan seeks revenge against Dr. Regal by capturing Rush. He utilizes Rush's technology to manifest in the real world without needing a Dimensional Area. ShadeMan then causes chaos throughout DenTech City in his search for his target. Lan steps in to stop him, but Dr. Regal arrives unexpectedly. He reveals a massive structure composed of Dimensional Area Converters. This device proceeds to envelop the entire planet, changing the global landscape. The confrontation escalates as the antagonist demonstrates his new power source. Lan must now face the consequences of this planetary coverage. The episode focuses on the immediate threat posed by these converters and the urgent need to counter Dr. Regal's plan.

Dr. Regal fuses with LaserMan to attack cities while Lan battles him using DoubleSoul CrossFusion.
Sep 25, 2004Dr. Regal employs a Dark SynchroChip to merge with his NetNavi, LaserMan, subsequently destroying ShadeMan. Giant LaserMen then assault global cities. Lan utilizes DoubleSoul during CrossFusion to confront Regal, but the attack drains his energy. CrossFusion ProtoMan returns to assist, yet Regal targets the Sci-Labs. The souls of the NetNavis, which power the Dimensional Area Converters, plead for help, reviving Lan. He achieves FullSynchro and completely defeats Dr. Regal. Peace returns as everyone observes shooting stars, including Ms. Yuri, who remarks that as one chapter ends, another begins.
