Ep. 77: The group stays at an impostor's dojo after a Tengu disturbance and a swordsman's challenge.

While dining in Shimonoseki, the group encounters a disturbance caused by the Tengu gang. Yahiko and Misao confront the attackers outside, but a man posing as the legendary manslayer scares them off. With no lodging available, the group reluctantly stays at the impostor’s temple, where they assist with dojo duties in exchange for accommodation. The Tengu, growing impatient, hire a swordsman to eliminate the fake Battousai. The swordsman arrives at the dojo demanding a duel. Kenshin returns from shopping and defeats the challenger, saving the impostor. Kenshin permits the man to retain the title of the legendary manslayer, and the group departs to return home.
