Shūrei and his companions host a feast in Kōrin to celebrate the revival of the cities. Governor Kei visits the following day to deliver a gift entrusted to him by Ryūki. Shūrei and Seiran then depart for Kiyou, receiving farewells from the entire population of Kōrin. Upon returning home, they observe the first buds emerging from the Sakura tree they received from Ryūki, signaling the approach of Spring.
