Ep. 4: Ronja explores the castle depths and encounters a whistling boy at Hell's Gap.

In autumn, Ronja questions her father and the robbers about their stolen goods, but they successfully hide the truth from her. Meanwhile, guards hunt Borka’s band, forcing them out of their forest territory. Ronja is warned that the Borkas are scoundrels, despite never having met them. With harpies becoming more aggressive and the forest more dangerous due to the season, Ronja decides to explore the lower depths of the castle. During this exploration, she discovers the path to Hell's Gap. On the other side of the Gap, she meets a red-haired boy who is whistling. This encounter introduces a new character to Ronja while she navigates the increasingly perilous environment around the castle.
