Ep. 7: Ronja and Birk encounter mysterious figures in the forest mist while discussing ownership and robberies.

Ronja is irritated that Birk has invaded her secluded forest and demands he leave. Birk argues that the animals and woods belong to no one, but Ronja insists she will not share the space with him before running away. As mist descends, Birk locates Ronja, who leads him back to the castle using a rope. She soon becomes lost in the fog, hearing laughter from dancing figures in the distance. Birk warns her against listening to the Unearthly Ones' song, fearing she will be lost forever. Entranced, Ronja attacks Birk to follow the figures, but he resists her scratching and biting. When the mist clears, Ronja regains her senses without memory of the event, and her opinion of Birk improves slightly. Later, she questions Mattis about his unauthorized taking of items, and he explains the concept of a robber. Ronja vows never to become a robber, let alone a robber chieftain like her father.
