Ep. 8: Balsa and Chagum seek a new blade from a cautious swordsmith who demands proof of innocence.

Balsa and Chagum visit a renowned swordsmith to commission a new blade for Balsa's spear. The craftsman agrees to forge the weapon only after verifying that Balsa did not kill the prince. He confines them in a storage room, where Mon and Jin later enter to retrieve their repaired swords. Before releasing them, the swordsmith explains his philosophy of creating magnificent weapons for warriors who fight for justice rather than malice. He recounts a story about a warrior who died protecting a child from assassins, which alludes to Jiguro and Balsa. After Mon and Jin thank him and leave, Balsa and Chagum emerge from hiding. Seven days later, the swordsmith delivers the newly forged spear to Balsa.
