Balsa instructs Touya to teach Chagum how to behave like a city dweller. Touya demonstrates negotiation by lowering food prices at a concession stand. The prince later exposes a rigged gambling game and vows to teach the entertainers a lesson. Although the players initially doubt Chagum, he proves the game is fixed. Chagum agrees to an all-or-nothing round, betting his necklace for the stolen money. He successfully wins the round, returning the funds to the players who celebrate his victory.
