Ep. 9: Shuga investigates drought signs and learns of stolen scrolls from Gakai

Shuga discovers that Gakai, a fellow master star diviner, is removing stone scrolls from the sacred chambers to deliver them to Sagum, the empire's first prince. Shuga attempts to stop this theft but is demoted for his disobedience. He subsequently meets Sagum, who confirms he now holds the scrolls, bringing Shuga relief. Shuga then travels to a village to check if water levels are dropping. On the way, he encounters Tanda, who is intrigued by Shuga's star reading tools and questions his presence. While fish populations and crop yields appear normal, Shuga remains suspicious that a drought is imminent.
