Kachou recounts local legends regarding the station's hauntings. Stories include an old man disappearing into a cemetery after asking for directions in the rain, a dummy boy screaming in pain during an accident demonstration, and an officer’s voice haunting the phone after he was stabbed near a telephone booth. A water well near a peddler’s home is said to harbor spirits. A peddler crossing gallows is offered two watermelons; after eating one, he retrieves the second from the well, encountering the spirits. It is revealed that Shouji was the silhouette, training outside at night.
